Geoff has a comprehensive and continuous 35 plus years in the property industry as a practicing Valuer, Property Consultant and Real Estate Agent in South Coast Region of NSW and ACT.
Geoff enjoyed over 7 years as a director, on the Professionals Real Estate Groups National and International Boards.
Geoff moved to Batemans Bay from Canberra in 1981, amalgamated 5 local real estate agencies and co-founded The Professionals Batemans Bay and South Coast Valuations. His specialties are in selling Development sites and Project Marketing.
Over the past 30 years he has been the project marketing agent for the majority of the major projects in the Batemans Bay area. (Residential Land, Units and Commercial Developments.). Tender for Baylink, a $20m Federal government service centre on land previously sold to the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club.Geoff Payne has been a part of the Batemans Bay community since moving to the bay in 1981. Geoff would be known to man in the Batemans Bay community, not only through his involvement in the property industry, but also through his many years on the executive of organisations such as; Batemans Bay Chamber of Commerce, Eurobodalla Tourism, Eurobodalla Business Network (OLMA committee), Technology User Group, Batemans Bay Youth Foundation and also through his photographic art exhibitions.

The Staff included a Database co-ordinator, tele-centre co-ordinator, two part-time Aquaculture Advisors, an office Trainee and several voluntary staff who donated over 1500 hours of valuable time in the first 6 months of operation.
Formed in May 1992, the EEET Committee comprised a cross-section of local business people and educationalists, who got together to apply for Office of Labour Market Adjustment (OLMA) funding from the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET) for a regional package of assistance to improve the efficiency of the Eurobodalla Labour Market. The main objective of the EBN was to create employment opportunities.
Projects included; Aquaculture, Horticulture, Ecotourism, Farm forestry, Coastal landcare, Heritage Trails, Environmental monitoring, Energy efficiency, Information Technology Centre, IT skills training, ‘Aussie Host’ training.
